General terms and conditions: A letter of engagement accompanied by our standard terms and conditions will be provided at the start of any contract for works.
Applicable law: Unless otherwise agreed, English law, with the English Courts having exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning the service and any matter arising from it.
Work Guarantees: All works guaranteed for 3 years from date of completion.  Your statutory rights are not affected by our guarantee.

Complaints Policy

We always endeavour to provide the best service to our customers. However , on rare occasions, we recognize that there may be times where our customers may not be completely
satisfied.  To ensure we are able to put things right please read our complaints procedure below.

Where we are unable to resolve your complaint using our own complaints procedure, as a Which Trusted Trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. In the unlikely event that we cannot remedy your complaint to your satisfaction you may wish to refer your complaint to them.  If you wish to do so please contact Which? Your Right to Choose.

Following a petition instigated by Retail Motor Law asking the Prime Minster to introduce anti-steering legislation to prevent Insurance Companies from pressurising policyholders into an Accident Repair Centre selected by them the Government issued the following statement;

“whilst we are aware that most Insurers operate a system of preferred repairers, the majority of motor insurance policies state that the policyholders have the right to choose their own repairer, and are not obliged to use the Insurance Companies repairer.”

If there is information to suggest that Insurers are not following their policy terms and conditions in
 this area, they advise that this information is passed on to the Financial Conduct Authority (FSA).

The decision on whether to take action will depend on quality of the evidence and the seriousness of the accusations.

Channel 4 TV’s Dispatches: Secrets of Your Car Insurance highlighted what most in the repair industry already know just how far Insurers will go to cut costs even where there are possible issues of safety.

They give the impression that quality supported by them is paramount when they are speaking to the customer the reality in reality it’s all about saving money.

Non approved garages do not have to cut corners as they are not restrained by a contract and often provide a better all round service and quality repair.

Insurers may say you will not get a Courtesy Car unless you use their preferred repairer but as Cars are provided by the repairer and not the Insurer that is not usually issue.
